savor/art & food tours new!!!
Here in the Hudson Valley, art is part of who we are, from our striking urban murals and sculptures to the unique works of emerging artists in our galleries and studios, to classic works in our museums and historic sites.
Hudson Valley Food Tour’s new Savor/Art & Food experiences are a unique way to get to know the Hudson Valley: via the palate and the eyes. As you get close to the creations of our farmers, food artisans, chefs and now, artists, too, you get to know us in a way that just driving around doesn’t provide.
We think these exciting new tours are great for food lovers, art lovers--and connoisseurs of either or both--who seek a special added dimension to their time in the Hudson Valley.
Our food and beverage tasting stops are peppered with viewings at galleries, renowned arts centers, arts festivals, farms owned by artists, huge urban murals and sculptures, and galleries. You’ll see modern art in progress in the studio or on museum walls, often meeting the artists and sometimes even sharing meals with them.
We’ve always felt that food is one of the fine arts, up there with music, theater and film, architecture and art. And now we bring you some of the Hudson Valley’s most intriguing art to supplement our best culinary offerings.
In Poughkeepsie and Beacon there is art popping up unexpectedly at every turn, as well as at farms in Northeast Dutchess County and the Rondout Valley in Ulster County. This year Hudson Valley Food Tours will bring you closer to our best art and food and closer to the people and beauty of the Hudson Valley.
