When: Tours run on Saturdays June through October, 1-2 times per month, more often on request. They start at 2 pm and will end two to three hours later. Private tours are also available on other days of the week.
Where: The tours start at at the pop-up park on Main St. (the cross street is Cross St.), where you can't miss Rick Price's glorious mural. Tickets must be purchased in advance.
Driving? There is a nearby parking lot on Cross St. and another where Main intersects with South Elm--at the DMV. (On-street parking on Main St. is free but limited to two hours, so won't work for our 2.5 hour tour.) Further east there is a large parking lot behind the building that houses the Yankee Clipper/More Good/Towne Crier, and there are several other municipal lots off Main St. as well. Click here for more free parking information from our friends at A Little Beacon Blog.

Public transportation? Beacon Train Station/Metro North schedules are here.  A taxi ride into town (this site lists taxi companies, plus there are usually some waiting at the station) is a short ride and worth it, as it's a steep hike.  There is also a bus that goes from the train station into town.

Who: All ages are welcome but keep in mind there is a fair amount of walking so the tour may not be appropriate for all.

Capacity: Only 12 people per tour, not including under 5’s.
Weather: Tours run rain or shine except for severe weather. See our cancellation policies here.
