rondout valley savor/art & food  farm tour

WE REGRET THAT TOMORROW'S TOUR (AUGUST 21) HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL. REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED TO ALL GUESTS.
Join us for this fabulous series of mini-bus tours of Rondout Valley farms and eateries! Enjoy the flavors of this beautiful part of the Hudson Valley and meet the farmers and artisans who make it happen.

Many food and beverage samples will be provided. Stops are subject to change due to weather and other factors. Your bus tour may include:
  • The Rosendale Farmers Market -- sample local products and produce in this historic village
  • Hollengold Farm -- the beautiful permaculture organic gardens of botanical illustrator Wendy Hollengold
  • Arrowood Farm and Brewery -- beer, ducks, and more beer, brewed from their own assortment of hops plants
  • The Rail Trail Cafe -- a farm-to-trail eatery tucked away in the middle of the woods
  • Helena's Specialty Foods -- possibly the best pierogies you've ever tasted
  • Kelder's Farm -- see a Guinness World Record-setting giant garden gnome, milk a cow, pick your own seasonal produce on a 200-year-old farm
  • Westwind Orchard -- organic produce and raw honey, wood-fired pizza
Tours leave from the Trailways Bus stop on Rte. 32 in Rosendale [map] at 11:05 am (to meet the coach that leaves Port Authority, NYC at 9:15 am--fare not included). Tours return to the same location at about 4:00 pm. Stops are available at the Kingston Trailways Station as well, on request.
This tour includes the option to participate in the Stick to Local Farms adventure--a popular Rondout Valley-wide interactive art project. Adventurers each get a limited edition souvenir map and can collect an art sticker from every farm on the tour to add to their map.

this tour is rain or shine, so in case of inclement weather there may be some modifications to the tour route

Ticket pricing is $99 for over 12, $79 for ages 5-12, under 5 free. Don't forget to add promo code 15OFFAUG when booking for 15% off your tickets!
